Meet MARCO, the AI Restaurant Assistant who welcomes guests even when your dining room is at its busiest. MARCO can introduce your menu, explain opening and kitchen hours, share approved dining information, guide guests toward reservations, and help group or event inquiries reach the right next step.

Teach MARCO what makes your restaurant special

MARCO’s success depends greatly on the knowledge you give him. Fill his memory with your menus, signature dishes, service times, reservation process, location details, group-dining options, policies, and the story behind your hospitality. The more accurate and current his knowledge, the more confidently he can help guests plan their visit.

You choose his personality, priorities, responsibilities, and when your host, manager, or kitchen team should answer personally. MARCO becomes part of the guest experience you have designed.

Turn interest into visits while your team serves the room

A guest may decide where to dine while your staff cannot stop to answer the phone or website questions. MARCO helps your restaurant stay responsive during those important moments, guides guests toward reservations and inquiries, and allows your people to focus on the food, atmosphere, and service that bring customers back.

A restaurant guest may start planning a visit while your team is in the middle of service. They want to find the current menu, check kitchen hours, understand the reservation process, or ask how a group inquiry should be handled. Forge Lumina AI Restaurant Assistant gives those visitors a way to explore the information your restaurant approves while your staff concentrate on the people already dining with you.

Good hospitality begins with helping people understand what to expect. An assistant can explain practical details and guide guests toward the correct next step without requiring them to know where everything sits on the website. This is especially useful when the same questions arrive repeatedly or when visitors are considering a celebration rather than an ordinary meal. Your team remains responsible for the arrangements and the service that make the occasion personal.

Guests may visit your website to check when the kitchen opens, find the menu, ask about parking, or understand how to reserve a table. This assistant brings the information supplied by your restaurant into a conversational experience. It helps with the questions that can be answered from your approved content and directs requests requiring staff judgment to the appropriate contact. Restaurants, cafés, and dining venues that want help answering routine website questions about menus, opening hours, and guest arrangements.

Help guests explore the menu and understand the visit

The agreed configuration can support the following tasks: explain opening hours, location, contact information, and published dining arrangements; help visitors find menu items and understand descriptions supplied by the restaurant; explain the published reservation process and direct guests to your existing booking route; provide approved information about takeaway options, group dining, or private-event inquiries; collect agreed inquiry details or direct guests to staff when a request needs a personal answer.

A quick lunch, a family dinner, and a group celebration can lead to different questions about the same restaurant. Your assistant can explain the dining information your team has approved and guide guests toward the relevant menu, reservation route, or contact details. It should describe only the arrangements your business actually offers. For example, a question about a large group should not produce a promise of a private room unless that option is confirmed in your information. The conversation can help a guest understand what to ask next while leaving the host or manager in control of special arrangements.

Guests may ask for a description of a dish, where to find a particular menu, or whether your published offerings include a certain type of option. The assistant can help with information supplied by your restaurant, but it should not infer ingredients or preparation methods from a dish’s name. Menus can change, and a published item may not establish current availability during a particular service. Questions about allergies or dietary safety should go to staff who can confirm the kitchen’s current information. The assistant’s role is to make approved menu details easier to locate and understand, not to replace that direct confirmation.

What this could look like in your business

A guest is planning a birthday dinner for eight and asks about opening times and group reservations. The assistant explains your published process and guides the guest to the booking page or inquiry route. If the party needs special seating or a custom arrangement, your staff confirm what is possible before any promise is made.

Imagine a guest planning a birthday dinner for a group. They want to know the opening hours, where to find the menu, and whether the restaurant has a published process for larger parties. The assistant can explain those details and guide the guest to the appropriate booking page or group inquiry route. If the request involves special seating, decorations, or a custom menu, staff review what is possible. When someone raises an allergy or a particular food requirement, the kitchen or designated team must confirm the arrangements. The assistant helps the guest reach that conversation without converting a general answer into a promise about the meal.

The practical benefit is a more informed guest and a better-directed inquiry. Review whether visitors find the current menu and reservation route, whether group requests arrive with useful details, and whether the assistant directs special arrangements to the right person. These improvements can support the guest experience around your existing operation. They complement the host, servers, and kitchen, whose attention and judgment remain essential to the dining experience.

Support hospitality around the busy service period

A visitor may think that typing a preferred time into chat has booked a table. The assistant’s wording should make the actual process clear: follow the restaurant’s reservation link, submit a request, or contact the team according to your approved instructions. If a direct booking connection is later included, confirmation must depend on the result from that system. The same distinction applies to takeaway questions and event inquiries. Asking about an order or describing a celebration does not place an order or reserve a space. Clear next steps help guests and staff avoid misunderstandings during busy service periods.

Your team can choose the routine questions worth covering first: service times, menus, directions, reservation instructions, or group inquiries. Information should distinguish general opening hours from kitchen hours where they differ. Staff should also identify what changes frequently and how those updates reach the approved content. A review of sample conversations can show whether guests are guided to the correct route and whether special requests remain with the appropriate person. The intended result is a useful extension of your website’s hospitality, helping guests find information while employees concentrate on the dining experience and the decisions that require their attention.

This product is intended to make routine information easier to access and help guests reach the right next step. It can be useful during service periods when employees are busy with diners. It does not replace the in-person care of a server, the judgment of the kitchen, or the host’s control over seating and special requests.

Implementation and integration around your business

Gather current menus, opening and kitchen hours, location and parking details, reservation links, and group-dining guidance. Establish how seasonal changes and revised arrangements will be communicated. The team should also agree which special requests must always be handled personally.

Implementation and integration take between 3 days and 1 week, depending on the complexity of your solution. This timeframe begins once we have the information, access, and approvals needed to carry out the agreed work.

During implementation, we organize the approved information and agree how the assistant should handle the relevant customer questions. We review representative examples with your business, including requests that need staff attention. If a connected workflow is part of the agreed service, its required access, permitted actions, and completion messages need to be checked before customers use it. This gives your team a practical opportunity to confirm that the experience reflects the way you operate.

Clear scope and a practical route to your team

Direct reservations, live table availability, food ordering, payments, delivery tracking, and point-of-sale connections are included only when specifically confirmed and implemented. An inquiry does not secure a table or place an order. The assistant must not guarantee allergen-free meals, ingredients, or cross-contact safety; allergy and dietary-safety questions require confirmation from restaurant staff.

The configuration is tailored to the business information and workflows agreed for your service. Before activation, the written scope should identify the selected channel, supported functions, included call minutes if voice call answering is part of the agreed service, support arrangements, and any required connections. Telephone answering and other channels are not automatically included. Information-based assistance does not itself provide access to live calendars, private records, or transaction systems.

Your business supplies and approves the information used to represent it. Questions outside that information need a clear route to your staff. AI responses can be mistaken, so review representative conversations and keep the underlying business information current.
